Kimberly Minero


Kim received her Bachelors degree in speech-language pathology from Hofstra University and her Masters degree in speech-language pathology from Long Island University.

Kim served on Early Intervention teams in New York City. Her position as the lead speech pathologist in the ABA Early Intervention program has provided her with extensive experience with children on the autism spectrum.

Kim specializes in evaluating and treating the young child with autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, receptive-expressive language disorders, and language-listening challenges. She is trained in Verbal Behavior Analysis (VBA), Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol (K-SLP), Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), More Than Words (Hanen approach) and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).

Kim developed and oversees the Suburban Speech Center protocol for treating communication challenges in young children with autism. In addition, Kim coordinates the Suburban Speech Center Comprehensive ABA Treatment (CABAT) program with BehaviorWise.

Kim joined Suburban Speech Center in 2006.
