Alexa received her Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Rhode Island and her Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Seton Hall University.
Alexa’s experience includes assessing and treating children with communication challenges in both inpatient and outpatient medical settings.
Alexa specializes in oral-motor and articulation disorders, receptive-expressive language disorders, and social-pragmatic language disorders in children. Alexa works with children in the Practice Playce program at Suburban Speech Center.
This year, Alexa spoke at a conference on a systematic review of Melodic Intonation Therapy and its impact on language intervention.
Alexa joined Suburban Speech Center in 2014.
