Alexa received her Bachelors degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Rhode Island and her Masters degree in speech-language pathology from Seton Hall University.
Alexa’s experience includes assessing and treating children with communication challenges in both inpatient and outpatient medical settings, as well as in private practice.
Alexa specializes in oral-motor and articulation disorders, receptive-expressive language disorders, and social-pragmatic language disorders in children. Alexa works with children in the Practice Playce program at Suburban Speech Center.
This year, Alexa spoke at a conference on a systematic review on Melodic Intonation therapy and its impact on language intervention.
Alexa joined Suburban Speech Center in 2014.
