Laura Lagala

M.A., CCC-SLP

Laura received both her Bachelor’s degree and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University.

Laura has worked with patients in both the inpatient and outpatient medical settings. She specializes in Social-Pragmatic Language Disorders and Execute Functions Disorders in the older child. Laura has lectured to community groups and parents about techniques to facilitate Execute Functions skills.

Laura implements the Suburban Speech Center Executive Functions Protocol for children who struggle at home and in school. This protocol helps the child set goals, manage tasks, create and execute plans, and carryout assignments via working memory and time management strategies.

In addition, Laura specializes in evaluating and treating school aged children with articulation disorders, auditory processing disorders, and receptive-expressive language disorders.

Laura joined Suburban Speech Center in 2013.
