Alissa received her Bachelors degree in marketing from Hofstra University and her Masters degree in speech-language pathology from Seton Hall University.
Alissa was chosen to be a representative for Suburban Speech Center for the Beta trial for the Fast ForWord program in California. She was a coordinator of the Fast ForWord program at Suburban Speech Center.
Alissa specializes in articulation disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, receptive-expressive language disorders, and oral motor therapy. She is trained in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), Links to Language, Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol (K-SLP), and has experience in numerous oral motor therapy programs, including myofunctional remediation.
Alissa joined Suburban Speech Center in 1996.
